Minneapolis Hindu Wedding and Christian Wedding Ceremonies: Tyler and Sujata

Minneapolis Hindu wedding and Lutheran wedding ceremonies : a heartfelt pair of ceremonies for an inspiring pair of people. With families from multiple religious backgrounds, Tyler and Sujata planned a pair of wedding ceremonies : a Lutheran church wedding ceremony followed by a Minneapolis Hindu wedding ceremony.

It was a sunny summer weekday at the end of June; Tyler and Sujata processed in to the sanctuary of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Minneapolis and shared a heartfelt and relaxed Lutheran wedding ceremony. Surrounded by a circle of their immediate families and small wedding party, it was incredibly intimate and happy and beautiful.

As their Christian ceremony ended in one space, Tyler and Sujata (grinning and laughing) hugged their family and friends and then walked across the hallway into the church community room, and there was a flurry of activity as they began preparing for their Minneapolis Hindu wedding ceremony. Sujata changed from her stunning tea-length white dress into a striking red sari, Tyler changed into a traditional Nepali outfit, and Sujata's uncle distributed Nepali hats to the groomsmen and Tyler's family. The Hindu engagement and wedding ceremonies were relaxed and happy, Tyler and Sujata at a table surrounded by incense and and candles and colorful cloth, smiling family and friends looking on from tables throughout the room.
